Information and Training
The main task of the NCP is to promote and spread the “OECD
Guidelines” among the enterprises and the
stakeholders.
In complying with such task, a fundamental role is played by its
training and information activities by which the NCP
aims at raising awareness on the issues of the Guidelines and of
Corporate Social Responsibility among businesses, labour unions,
non governmental organisations, social partners, universities, research
institutes and general public.
In particular, the NCP does:
- participate to seminars and to thematic exhibitions;
- offer training modules within university courses and refresher courses;
- sponsor and participate to meetings and projects – public and/or private – concerning the OECD Guidelines and to the spreading of CSR;
- promote initiatives specifically aiming at making enterprises aware of the themes of the OECD Guidelines and at making them adopt responsible entrepreneurial conducts;
- respond to information requests coming from other NCPs, entrepreneurial associations, labour unions, non governmental organisations and any other interested subject;
- spread information on the OECD Guidelines, utilizing effective communication tools, and on the issues of Corporate Social Responsibility.
