The main goal pursued by the NCP is to spread and properly enforce the "Guidelines for multinational enterprises", promoting their knowledge, expressing an opinion on interpretation requests from third parties and settling disputes resulting from the Guidelines implementation.
In a broader sense, however, the NCP operates as a tool available to Governments to pursue responsible growth policies, based on common values and aimed at ensuring a sustainable development.
In fact, the NCP is a liaison between institutional, economic and social circles, and can favour dialogue and debate among diverse parties while encouraging the creation of a culture that can marry entrepreneurial spirit, ethics and environmental sensitivity.
