How does the NCP expresses its opinion about the application of the Guidelines?

Once a request has been received, the NCP reviews its relevance to check whether or not it deserves to be further explored; then, the NCP makes itself available to settle the issue, after hearing the interested parties and asking for the opinion of those who, depending on the circumstances, can facilitate the achievement of an agreement (competent authorities, represented by business circles, labour unions, other non governmental organizations, experts, NCP of the country or countries involved, OECD Investment Committee). In the event no agreement is reached by the parties, the NCP publishes a communiqué and formulates recommendations regarding the applications of the Guidelines.
