Welcome on the Italian National Contact Point for the OECD Guidelines Website

Italy adheres to the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises referring to a responsible business conduct.

In 2000 the Italian Government signed the “Declaration on International Investment and Multinational Enterprises” and undertook the duty to encourage the multinational enterprises operating in or from their territories to voluntarily comply with  the recommendations contained in the Guidelines.
As all adhering Governments, Italy created its National Contact Point within the Ministry of Economic Development.

The NPC spreads and enforces the “Guidelines”, disseminates related information, promotes  the collaboration among national and international institutions, the economic world and the civil society.
